Delighted to hear I’ve had my 2 submissions accepted for the 128th Annual Exhibition of the Paisley Art Institute. The painting above is titled ‘Molecular Bonds’. It’s 1 metre square using acrylic and oil on linen. Is it a landscape? an abstract piece? I think I’ll call it a ‘Colourscape’!
Also on show will be the 80cm painting below called ‘Echo’.
Lookout for great work from fantastic artists such as Robert Kelsey, Cate Inglis, Denise Findlay and the BP Portrait shortlister Jane Gardiner!
I’ll be digging out my ticket for the Friday night preview. If I can’t find it, I’ll have to put another plea out on facebook. Last time it was artist Rosanne Barr who kindly helped me out at the Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair preview!

Sorry I don’t remember your mail coming in. I’ve had some issues with my contact form lately. Although I don’t replicate paintings (they are all ‘one of a kind’), I do revisit subject matter so could discuss a commission.
As for when the paintings at the PAI, they are for sale from when the exhibition opens (officially Sat 14th but corporate and preview are 12th, 13th). I also have a show of 23 paintings at Morningside gallery opening Saturday 7th May. I’m through at the gallery between 1 and 3pm and could discuss anything there.
